Well bred colt, ran 7th, then on pulling up injured left fore fetlock, and was transported to local Equine Hospital for further assessment. His status is currently unknown.

Akona was transported to the DEH and had an emergency fetlock arthrodesis. He recovered and was discharged for his second career in the breeding shed. He became a friend to all in the hospital during his stay.
