Relocated and renamed in Hong Kong, he won the Premier Bowl, setting a course record. Royal Delight then went on to place 3rd in the Hong Kong sprint. He broke down in trackwork at Sha Tin on the 15th of January, 2008, and was sadly euthanized. His leg was broken in three places.
